AGM has a dedicated, caring staff with over 35 years of collective experience. Our specialists have expertise in treatment of orthopedics, sports medicine, home health care, and aquatic therapy. Our staff is capable of treating all ages, from infants to the elderly, and with injuries from head to toe. In fact, over 50% of our staff maintains the distinction of dual licensure in physical therapy (PT) and certified athletic training (ATC), or possesses the advanced degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Direct Access
The state of Ohio is a Direct Access state for Physical Therapy. This means that in most cases, you DO NOT need to obtain a referral from your physician prior to scheduling an appointment at AGM Physical Therapy. If you or someone you know has an injury that you believe would benefit from physical therapy, let AGM be the first line provider of choice.
Services Offered
At AGM Physical Therapy, we offer outpatient rehabilitation to the young and old (including infants). AGM offers services for treatment of orthopedic conditions (including but not limited to total joint replacements, rotator cuff repair, joint athroscopy, ACL recontruction, tendonitis, joint pain, muscle strains, joint sprains, neck and back surgery), sports injuries, pain syndromes, personal and work injuries, fibromyalgia and chronic pain, headaches, as well as neurlogical deficits. Patients who have completed physical therapy at AGM, whom are looking for a safe method of maintaining improvements are eligible for the AGM After Care Plan. In this plan, individuals are able to utilize our facilities in an independent program for exercise, with the benefit of the oversight from the licensed therapists that had just helped them recover from injury. In 2013, AGM began a Nutritional Guidance Plan for those interested in improving their overall wellness, which includes consultation in the areas of diet, exercise, and lifestyle modification.
Participating Insurance
AGM Physical Therapy is a participating provider in the majority of all insurance plans common to our region (Northeast Ohio). This includes Medicare, Medicaid, Ohio BWC, Medical Mutual, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Health Care, Wellcare, and TriCare, as well as many other plans.
